Plant Identifier: PlantCam (hereinafter referred to as the "App") is a plant identification and care app developed by Aydın Furkan Süren. This SERVICE is provided by Aydın Furkan Süren and is intended for use as is.

• Plant Images: When you take a photo or select an image from your gallery for plant identification, these images are processed through our AI service in the background to identify the plant and provide care recommendations. Images are processed solely for identification purposes and are not stored permanently on our servers.
• Device and User Information: We collect device identifiers and user IDs solely for subscription management and to verify your premium access status. This information is not linked to your personal identity and is not used for advertising purposes.
• Usage Analytics: We collect anonymous usage data through Firebase Analytics to help us improve the app's performance and user experience. This data cannot be linked to your personal identity.

Data Processing and Third-Party Services

OpenAI Integration: Plant images you submit are processed through OpenAI's GPT service to provide plant identification and care recommendations. OpenAI processes these images according to their own privacy policy and terms of service. Images are not permanently stored by OpenAI for training purposes.

Firebase Services: We use Firebase for analytics and app performance monitoring. All data collected through Firebase is anonymized and cannot be linked to your personal identity.

Data Retention

Plant images submitted for identification are processed in real-time and are not stored permanently on our servers. Device and user identifiers are retained only as long as necessary for subscription management purposes.

No Advertising Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or share any personal information for advertising purposes. The app does not serve advertisements or track user behavior for marketing purposes.

Security

Your trust in providing information is valued, and commercially acceptable means are employed to protect it. All data transmission is encrypted, and we implement appropriate security measures to protect your information. However, while no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
