This Privacy Policy explains how Pitch Perfect ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. We built Pitch Perfect to be a simple, on-device tuning and pitch-detection tool, and we designed it to collect as little information as possible.

    The short version: Your microphone audio is processed in real time
    on your device to detect pitch. We do not record it, store it, or send it anywhere.
  

Microphone & Audio

Pitch Perfect needs access to your microphone so it can listen to your voice or instrument and detect pitch as you play. This audio is analyzed live, on your device, for the sole purpose of showing you pitch information.

Audio is not recorded or saved to a file.
Audio is not transmitted to us or any third party.
Audio exists only momentarily in memory while it is being analyzed, then is discarded.

You can revoke microphone access at any time in your device's Settings. The app will not function as a tuner without it.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not ask you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, location, or any recordings of your audio.

Analytics & Diagnostics

To understand how the app is used and to fix crashes and bugs, we use Google Firebase. Firebase may collect anonymous or aggregated information such as app usage events, device model, operating system version, general region, and crash reports. This information is not used to personally identify you. You can review Google's practices in the Firebase Privacy & Security policy.

Purchases & Subscriptions

Pitch Perfect offers in-app purchases and subscriptions. These are handled through the Apple App Store and processed using RevenueCat, which manages purchase validation and subscription status. We never see or store your payment card details — payments are handled entirely by Apple. RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous app user ID and purchase information to deliver this functionality. Data Stored on Your Device

The app saves your preferences and settings locally on your device. This data stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Children's Privacy

Pitch Perfect is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
